4 Speed vs Auto Column Comparison

There is a difference in steering tilt columns when you compare
"auto column" tilt vs "manual column" tilt units. The
evidence is pretty clear when you look and compare the two in the attached
pix. The "manual shift" unit has a full square and 1 inch LONGER
shoulder housing below the tilt unit PLUS it has no slot for that pesky
lil spring clip for the shift indicator as does the auto, and the auto unit
has a "clipped" off shoulder for ignition rod linkage to clear
when in movement to lock the column
